Raming lodge is an older hotel, but absolutely fine. It’s in the middle of the Chiang Mai tourist heart with multiple eating and drinking options. I have stayed previously and would stay again.

The property is in a great location, central to most things in Chiang Mai, shopping, bars and night market. After a noisy (customers next door) night, first night, I asked the next morning to be moved in which the staff were only to happy to accommodate.

Excellent Location - close to restaurants, bars, massage... Our room type is Deluxe Double Room - room is spacious, bathroom is spacious. A free shuttle service takes you to the airport at certain hours. A good variety of breakfast but too bad that the food is not hot enough. Pool is very different from what was shown on the website. Do not expect you can check-in early or late check-out even if you are willing to pay. I don't know it's because they are full or it's their general practice. Soundproofing is not good if you are a light sleeper.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very accommodating and genuinely happy to help you. Bed a little hard, but ok. Pool nice too. The burger place attached to it, they were so delicious! Also the bkft had a very nice variety.
