Excellent boutique hotel. Top notch staff especially front door greeters Antonio & Vincent who both went the extra mile to ensure your needs were attended. Was upgraded to a suite when check-in was slightly delayed. The river view! The window seats! The varied lounging and dining options! Bed was cozy. Bathroom well appointed. Fireplace in lobby was perfect gathering place. Will return next time I'm in Chicago.

2 nights during April. Great hotel. Fancy coffee machine in lobby available 24 hours. Cold spring water from a tap next to it. Historic building fully redone. Hallways were windy but rooms are very large and well appointed. Inside room are yoga mat and light weights, most of which looked unopened. Clean and brand new bathrooms. Very friendly staff (very hardworking and friendly doorman) and very cool lobby. People actually hung out in it, it felt so pretty and comfortable. I stayed here for business but lots of families here for pleasure, and it seems to work equally well for both. Would definitely book again.

Wellness personified

Great location and very spacious rooms with a modern vibe. The Korean face masks were a nice wellness touch as well as the Apotheke toiletries. Yoga mat and weights in the room and a giant TV! Ebony made sure I had a room to see the Chicago River and Marina City - appreciate! Ordered a meal in the bar and it was brought to my room. Don't forget the strong morning coffee and afternoon snacks, all gratis.

Vincent was amazing during our stay! We came to Chicago from NYC to celebrate a birthday. He helped us out with finding good reccomendations and setting up a birthday surprise for my guest. I loved the hospitality at this resort. Great, chic, and I loved the addition of yoga mats & air purifiers in our rooms! So helpful for us. We will definitely stay again at another Lotte property.

The location is great for easy access to walkable points of interest or transportation. The hotel/ room/ gym are very clean and updated. The 24 hrs coffee bar in the lobby is awsome. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The two queen bed room is spacious, with air filter that keeps fresh air at all times. The yoga mat and the toys for pets were a nice surprise along with the cozy space by the window for a spectacular Riverwalk view. Overall, a great hotel.

We really liked this hotel. We didn't get the wet towel when we first arrived and that's not a big deal, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was always good coffee in the lobby. That was good because the coffee in the room is not regular coffee. It seems like espresso. The room was promptly made up in the morning, which we like. The room was clean and we had a good view of the river. It would have been nice to have some information about the Korean steakhouse in the room. Overall a great stay!

Great Staff at the L7

The staff at L7 was great across the board. We had a small issue with our room and when it couldn't be resolved we were upgraded to another room which was perfect. Mary and her manager at the front desk were very accomodating and made sure we were happy with the outcome.
