The property has a unique architecture. The room feels like cruise ship quarters for space and CQ still does a nice job of making the space work to be effective and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

The rooms are super small. Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Less than 200 sq ft easy. We went down for the dying of the Chicago river green for St. Patrick’s day. Super great location! Could see the river from our room. Checkout is at 12noon. So we go up to take some items to our car at 10:00am. When we returned at 10:30am the hotel had already cleaned our room and checked us out. Thankfully we didn’t leave anything of value in our room! We did lose some snacks and leftovers in the cleaning. Checking guests out 1.5hrs early…. Not cool! For this reason alone I’d not recommend staying here.

I loved staying here. Only downfalls is the the room was little bit outdated. I didnt understand how to work the TV. And having 1 elevator was a stresser for sure.

I had sent a message earlier as well. Firstly, I noticed several essential amenities were missing, including body wash, slippers, and toothpaste or a toothbrush. This lack of basic services is quite concerning. Furthermore, the window in the room has an obstructed view, as it faces another building which makes the experience even more unpleasant. Lastly, I find it rather unsanitary and alarming to find drinking glasses kept in the bathroom, which is unhygienic and inappropriate. Given these issues, I was little disappointed with the overall experience.Otherwise,the location and the staff was really nice.

Great service, subpar accommodations

The room we booked was a riverview queen and what we got was a single window full. We were told the hotel was sold out and we only paid for a standard. Not sure what that had to do with the bed size and space. Add to the situation 1 elevator has been out of service the last 2 times weve stayed. The customer service kept us coming back despite the room disappointment but this will most likely be our last stay here.

The lobby and second floor public area were very nice. We had a two bedroom suite that did have two seperate areas for sleeping but only partial walls and no doors. So there was no privacy. There was a capichino machine but I had to outside the hotel for regular coffee. This is a clean basic hotel with good pricing but no extras.

Hotel was clean and as expected for the price. Staff was friendly which makes a difference. Minus one star for the elevator that was out of service, which happens to be the same elevator out of service when I was here last; which was five years ago.
