Very noise. Construction across the street starts at 7:30 and some remodeling in the hotel started at 6:50 and lasted for an hour with severe noise in pipes.

The only parking they have is a lot beside them which is $69 US for 24 hours. It was incredibly noisy. Switched rooms because the heater was banging all night. Good area and not a far walk from things.

Great option to have a good stay in Chicago

I loved the location. Museums and other attractions are within walking distance. The staff is kind and the rooms are comfortable yet a little aged. I had a good rest every night I stayed there. I definitely recommend this hotel

The property is really old and outdated. They have renovated the lobby but nothing else. It is truly a bit of a dive. Looks like a 1960s apartment building turned into hotel without modernization. Not worth the cost. Have stayed all across the loop in chicago and this was the worst. They did have a security guard after dark to prevent non guests

I was especially happy that the air conditioner made my room properly cold for sleep: I require a very cool to cold room for proper sleep. The cleaning crew did good work too. I'll return to this hotel when I want to visit Chicago. The location is great since it's not far to Symphony Center on S. Michigan Ave.
