Comfortable and convenient stay in The Loop

Great location in The Loop with at most a 30 min walk to most attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the free drink tokens too. Room very large and comfortable however could hear the train at all hours even on the 9th floor and there was some damage to a lot of furniture (noticeable chips, scratches etc). A very pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a central location in Chicago.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It is in a great location downtown as it’s in walking distance from many things and right next to the train line that takes you to the airport or allows you to connect to other lines. The employees were all very friendly and helpful, and we thought the hotel was in great shape. The only negative was the air conditioner was not working. We were able to open the window though to cool down the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Silversmith hotel. The location was perfect for me, two blocks from Millennium Park and walkable to all of the spots I was planning on seeing during my stay. They had a text feature that I really enjoyed as it made it very easy to ask any questions I had during my stay. They also held my bags one the first and last day of my stay when I didn’t have a room which meant even more time and ease to explore the city! I found the interior of the hotel to be very quiet. It was St Patrick’s day weekend so outside was noisy but nothing that isn’t expected when staying in a city and not super noticeable to me. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone else looking for a convenient place to explore the city. Oh and the bed was extremely comfortable!

Fantastic location twenty steps to the “El” trains in the Loop! Eight minutes walk to the Art Institute of Chicago; three minutes walk to the “Bean” and Millennium park; two minutes form Michigan avenue and the magnificent mile. Many, many restaurants, stores and attractions, within a very nice 30 to 45 minute walking radius. Love the facade facing Wabash street - beautiful!! Clean and well appointed rooms! Big spacious bath room! Listed last, but absolutely essential: GREAT staff!!
