I had read the reviews which were mixed so I almost booked elsewhere but everything was great. Spent the day by the outdoor pool and the indoor hot spring pool in the evening and it was very nice. We were in the Main area rm 314 overlooking the pool and the room was totally clean and comfy.

The pools are amazing especially for kids. The location by the lake is lovely and overall the grounds are peaceful and quiet. The building is old and the rooms are a bit worn down as are the hallways leading to the pool. The rooms were clean but could use some upgrades especially for a relaxing spa resort.

Hotel was under staffed and very dirty . Requested the room to be cleaned for 2 days and it didn't happen. Finally talked to a cleaning lady on another floor and she gave me a clean set of sheets that I changed myself. Cob webs on light fixtures, paint peeling off , and stained carpeting. They seem to have just let their standards go. This was a destination I have always enjoyed. From the fabulous food to the service and amenities I always look forward to staying at the Resort. My first visit was in 1989 and unfortunately my last will be 2025.

We had booked in the older part of the hotel and unfortunately it needs some major updating and was not overly clean. I did address this with the front desk and we were moved to a better room that was newer. They were very accommodating and made the rest of our stay very enjoyable. Otherwise we had a great time. Loved being able to jump in the lake and then go in the Hotsprings. This was my first time at Harrison and we will be back. Loved the temperature for early September and all the close restaurants and lots of options. Happy hour at the resort was great, good food and drinks for a very reasonable price.
