this is March 23, 2025 and there is not much going on on this island and very limited staffing and very limited restaurant choices. If you decide to stay here, make sure you request to have your room made up otherwise they skip it.

Stayed here last year around the same time of year. My room this year wasn't quite as clean. Considering that there was no one in the hotel they kind of gave us a crappy room. I don't know if it was close to the elevator or what but I kept hearing thumping in the middle of the night and it was mechanical thumping. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast and instead we got two $15 certificates to access what amounted to some fruit, some cereal, some breakfast bars,and some juice/coffee. All of which was way overpriced. We found a dirty towel folded up in the bathroom, the toilet paper roll holder was hanging off the wall, and the fan didn't work although it made a strange humming sound. I also don't appreciate that I have to pay a resort fee and a property fee in the offseason. That said the staff was friendly and attentive just don't know if I'll come back.

Getaway Trip.

First trip to Chincoteague, scoping out new fishing grounds. Nice area. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Will be back in Spring of 2025.
