Cute family run property but needs major renovation. Room smelled old, shower had mildew/ mold from poor ventilation. Bed was old and squeaky. Don’t know how long it’s been owned by the family but I hope they earn enough capital to remodel.

As two young girls traveling solo, staying somewhere safe and comfortable is a top priority. El Primero Hotel had the perfect balance of a warm, welcoming staff with comfortable rooms, along with a vintage, but updated, atmosphere. The family running the hotel was so kind! Anything we needed was met in five minutes or less. Thank you for a wonderful stay! <3
