Well Done

Nice hotel. Clean. Comfortable bed. Great AC. Excellent breakfast. I didn't visit Kings Island this trip, however, if I was I would recommend this hotel.

Bathroom smelled like mildew. Pool was cloudy. Staff was friendly and nice, breakfast was good. Beds were very comfortable. Very close to Kings Island. I have been back 5 days now and they still haven’t credited my $100 deposit back yet.

I truly appreciate the front desk staff. Had only planned to stay 1 night but after being in the; that hot we heat exhausted and went back and was quickly accommodated. Thank you. It was quiet, comfortable and clean and my kids loved the waffles at breakfast.

Facility was clean. Room was clean. The breakfast is straight forward—cereal, toast, yogurt, scrambled liquid eggs, pork sausage & make a waffle. There are plenty of eateries close to the hotel, some even walking distance (i.e. Buffalo Wings & Rings & Tokyo Grill Buffet). The selling point for my trip: 3 min drive from Kings Island!

The room had a little bit of a smell to it. Not bad just kind of musty. When I arrive back at 10:30 at night there was nowhere to park. Also I didn’t like that they put $150 hold on my credit card because I had booked through a third-party.

This used to be our favorite place to stay so when I got an amazing rate I was excited and booked for the night. Check in was good up until I was told that because I booked with a 3rd party they have to hold $150 for incidentals. People on a budget book through 3rd party companies to save money. Some people may not have $150 to hold up for a few days. What are they supposed to do? More than likely that is their spending money for a fun day at KI. Then the room...our security latch was broke, the plugs by the bedstand are so loose they don't keep anything plugged in. I am just sad because this was our favorite spot to stay but we will not be coming back. I can live with a little dust and wear and tear but there is no reason to hold up that much money for incidentals. For any reason.
