The property was (initially) as advertised. The house was clean and well appointed. As we got in very late on our first night, we ordered in and got an early start on the day deciding to have a 'chill' night in enjoying the hot tub (that was the deciding factor in switching my reservation from a nearby hotel with pool and jacuzzi to this property). Imagine our surprise and dismay after shoveling 8" of snow to the hot tub and off the cover of said hot tub only to discover that the hot tub was BROKEN. When I called the local number for advice, I was informed I had booked a reservation based on outdated info (that it had removed hot tub reference from other platforms). As I explicitly explained that my app showed the hot tub as a prominent selling point, a 'jewel in the crown' so to speak, I was of the opinion that I was misled. My dealings with the host platform 'Hoste' only frustrated me further. Call it 'Bait & Switch' or even 'False Advertising', but I am disgusted that they chose to hide behind 'terms and conditions', leaving Hotels.com holding the bag. ONLY BOOK THIS PROPERTY IF YOU LIKE PAYING FOR AN AMENITY THAT'S FALSELY SHOWCASED !!!!
