Outdated....

First thing i want to say is this hotel is very outdated for the price. My room had ants crawling over over the counter top. Ants dont really bother me but it just goes to show they dont spray for bugs. Please see pictures!! To me this was a cheaper type of hotel and not a higher end establishment. My personal experience is I will not be visiting this hotel again. Much newer and nicer hotels for the same price or cheaper!
You can see another ant on the bottom right of the glare crawling around.
That is a smashed ant on my receipt! 🤨😬🙄

Horrible beds

I stayed here a couple years ago and loved this place. It definitely is in dire need of some things being fixed. Our beds were absolutely HORRIBLE! So uncomfortable and add on super bad flat pillows. The room needed to be a little more cleaned. Could have used more Dusting. The wallpaper was peeling off all around the room. The bedspread needed to be thrown away. The duvet had clumps of something in it as if the down inside it had clumped together. We were always in love with the pool, however the pool is about 2ft low in water and the hot tub jets did not work. No waterfall anymore either. I really hope all this gets fixed because this was a really nice place a few years ago. Breakfast was good though. We won’t be coming back to this place again.

A charming hotel in the middle of Missouri

This place has a lot of charm and is pet friendly as well. It has nice grounds to get some fresh air or walk your dog. Not your typical chain hotel.

Pros: Linens and towels were very good, Good selection at breakfast. Shower was good Cons: needed deep cleaning, showing wear and tear; dim lighting and dark surfaces in the room made it very dark; waited to check in for about 10 minutes as no one was at the desk; view from window was of trashy back area of hotel

Property was pretty clean besides under the beds, we found mini alcohol bottled prom previous guests. It was state championship tournament for bb so lots of kids. It was extremely loud I’ll need to bring the sound machine next time. lol. Staff was amazing!

The room was dirty. We asked them to clean it. They never cleaned it. We followed up with three consecutive calls to the front desk in which they had brought us the wrong size sheet three times in a row and our hot tub was dirty. So our last night we stayed. We slept with the queen size sheet they provided
