Our second home the Pleasant Hill Sonesta

Each year around March 21, my wife and love celebrating our anniversary at the Sonesta hotel. The Sonesta feels like our second home. We appreciate the staff, for they make us feel like family. My wife and I only think one place to stay for our anniversary and its the Pleasant Hill Sonesta hotel.

Second stay at this location, this time facing Monument Blvd and the I680 freeway. Extremely noisy, especially at night. Preferred facing parking lot. Staff is incredibly nice and very accommodating. Decent value for money.

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities and a super comfortable bed. The location was perfect—close to major attractions yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and everything was fresh and delicious. I also appreciated the little touches like complimentary water bottles, fast Wi-Fi, and thoughtful room service. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family!

Sonesta would have received higher rating had they provided free coffee and/or continental breakfast. No microwave in room. I had lost my iPad and spent a major portion of my day trying to locate it, the staff was involved, however assured me it was not in a room I previously was in, finally had to demand they open door, sure enough it was in room.

Room 410 smell so bad that I ended up getting sick and was moved to another room. Front desk male had an attitude because I asked to move. Was told by cleaning lady that a lady lived in that room for a month with lots of cats and a dog. I still have that foul smell in my nose.
