The property was comfortable and well presented. Only one problem: when asked about a mechanic for a problem with our car, the receptionist told us there were "no mechanics in Coonabarabran and we would have to go to Dubbo". I'm pleased to say that a quick google search showed there are a couple of mechanics in Coonabarabran, one if which provides NRMA service. We were helped out by Barron's Tyre & Mechanical very professionally, and located just a few minutes from the motel. I'm glad we second-guessed the receptionist. Otherwise, a great stay.

We were provided individual breakfast packs at check-in which was a nice touch and removed the need to go searching for food early next morning. The room was very clean, a good size, and conveniently located, whilst the electric blankets were a very welcome inclusion in the chilly weather. The room could have used extra wall / ceiling lights and some additional power points - but all up a very comfortable stay, and we will happily book there again.
