Water Views Bliss w/ Water Access

Looking for the perfect place to experience the Oregon Coast? Our “Crown Bay Hideaway` is located in Coos Bay minutes away from Charleston Harbor but tucked away on two acres with stunning water views with access to your own private area to Charleston Harbor and the South Slough. Rent Paddleboards or kayaks, bring home fresh crab and seafood and grill your favorite meal, enjoy the multiple fire-pits and gathering areas, or cuddle up & enjoy a movie.

We are easy to find off Cape Arago Highway but sit on the top of the ridge after the Crown Point Bridge with views of the slough and the estuary with our own beach access. The house is private and secluded but we have perfect cell phone service, high speed WIFI and computer access. Our home is equipped with a Nest Thermostat, as well as a Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, Youtube TV and Amazon Prime.

Guests will have full access to the home which includes a front yard seating area, grill and fire pit, a backyard seating area and fire pit, viewing area of the bay and private water access.

While we don`t live onsite, our property concierge host is usually available on a moments notice. We also use a Smartlock for easy access and the home will be set for self check in prior to your arrival. You will receive access instructions upon booking and we`re always just a phone call away.

The cottage is an Oregon Coast Hideaway on the Estuary. Nestled above the private coves and strolling shoreline, it’s a wonderful artistic setting for painting and photography. Go fishing, crabbing, and kayaking from the personal launch.

You will need car access and there are numerous dining and lunch options less than 5 minutes away. Drive 3 minutes south to Charleston Harbor or 15 minutes north to central Coos Bay. We are a great stopping point for people venturing from California to Washington and everywhere in between.

Water Access:

We recently integrated a trail from our home to our own private water access. From there you can kayak or paddle board from our home to the south slough or Charleston Harbor. However be aware of the tides if you go out. The low tide will make that area completely dry so please plan your water trips accordingly.


Our Philosophy:

It`s our absolute goal to make our space as much as a `home away from home` as we can. As a result based on what we appreciated in our own travel experiences we don`t charge for any additional occupants (as long as it`s max 6), we don`t charge a deposit or extra for dogs (as long as it`s max 2)
What we ask:

All we ask is that you treat `your/our home` with respect and care. Please enjoy yourself and feel free to have as much fun as you want, but if something comes up or if something breaks please let us know so we can easily resolve. Stuff happens sometimes and we get that :-) And if for any reason we don`t meet or exceed your expectations during your stay please contact us immediately so we can help remedy or rectify if something comes up.

House Rules & Policies:

Guests must be at least 21 years old to book. If you have no prior positive reviews on Airbnb, we may not be able to approve your reservation request.

We’re proudly pet-friendly! There’s no charge for the first two pets; each additional pet is $50 per stay. We simply ask that you vacuum any excessive pet hair and promptly clean up after your furry friends.

Absolutely no parties are allowed. Unauthorized parties, smoking, loud disturbances, or disruptive gatherings will result in a $500 fee and may involve local authorities. We take the peace and safety of our property and neighbors seriously.
