Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Room was in terrible condition. Broken/cracked mirror, significant wall damage, some areas of the walls were not even painted, ripped screen on window, stained furniture, and the over all smell in the hotel was something we can’t even explain. Key cards stopped working 4 hours before check out. Bags of garbage sat in the hallways on the 2nd floor all day and into the evening. If it hadn’t been our son’s graduation and all hotels in the area weren’t booked we would have walked out. This room was not work 350 dollars. I’ve never stayed in a hotel like this before. Only saving grace was clean bedding and towels. So sad how this building is in this condition. We only received a 50 dollar discount. I’m still in disbelief. The company should be embarrassed to keep their doors open.

Upon checking into the hotel, we were told that the booking we booked through hotel.com was a scam. Evidently American Suites does not exist and uses the same address and phone number as American Inn. There were no rooms available to stay at American Inn. I’m still waiting for my refund.

DISAPPOINTED. I made my reservation through hotels.com, paid for the reservation, received a confirmation number, and receive the receipt of payment for the room. When I arrived at the hotel they had no record of my reservation. I attempted the contact hotels.com directly through your AI assistant, and receive no response. I was then forced to pay again for the room directly to the hotel. I find this to be completely unacceptable and expect someone to contact me directly to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
