Don't bother

Pros: Proximity to Coromandel village, walk to dinner and to walking tracks and shopping.
Cons: The demeanour of the reception staff, the hot water system, the heating and serve food that is within its use by date!
Location: It's a great drive into and out of Coromandel, the gift shops are good, the walking tracks are good. The staff in the tourist info place were great.
Where do I start? The reception woman was rude and argumentative. Refusing to honour the included breakfast until I produced paperwork showing her it was included. She then had a rave about Wotif and Expedia. When we did receive it, the cereal was out of date. The heater was inadequate for the size of the room and the shower was the worst ever. It alternated between scalding and freezing.

Well, nice motel, in quiet place near the beach

Pros: Clean, Safe and quiet with your own parking in front of your flat
Cons: Nothing, looks like a new one
Location: visiting the coast around Coromandel, Whitianga. Little train through the forest. See Musles and oysters farms
Been there for 4 days. Nice place to make yourself at home. Very pleasant manager. Hiking, sightseeing, wildlife. Eat oysters and muscles from the farms. Go around the coast. Visiting Whitianga on the other coast. Taking the train through the humid forest As well some spot like Cathedral Cove, hot water beach.

Nice hotel

The motel is quite reasonable and the facilities were also of good standard.

Nice motel near town and beach.

It was a good stay and the room were very clean! The service from the staff were excellent!

Good value

Pros: Very handy to town, very clean and good price
Cons: Bed was extremely uncomfortable leading to 2 bad and broken nights sleep. Sofa was not much better.
Had a 2 night stay - was handy to walk into town. Booking included a small continental breakfast each (toast, cereal, tinned fruit and selection of spreads) which was left in the room the night before.
