I liked my overall stay , the staff was friendly and accommodating my room was cleaned nicely everyday, unless you didnt want it to be, the food was just ok, they had daily activities, and entertainment on certain days, everything was free at the resort except for things like the spa and the store of course , what i hated the most were the mosquitoes, they bit me up good.but overall it was a nice place and safe

So my over all stay was ok. The rooms were decent and the entertainment was good. The staff were pleasant as well. However there is a lot of cross contamination in the buffet. Using the same utensils for chicken, beef & pork. I noticed that there was hair in the maple syrup so I said something. The lady changed the bowl and put new syrup in a bowl, but she took the spoon that was in the honey and put it in the syrup and then gave the honey a new spoon which didn’t make any sense. At the swim up bar, I asked for 4 green tea shots. The bartender gave my friend and I the shots but when I noticed something floating in 3 out of the 4 shots I said something and he seemed to be upset. Maybe he was just having a rough day. I didn’t care too much for the beach. It’s a long walk from the resort to the beach and it isn’t nice compared to the other ones I have seen in Mexico. If you are looking to hang out at a resort and not leave the resort this would be perfect for you. However for me, the location wasn’t the greatest. You are at least 45 mins away from the hotel strip.

We had a great stay at Riu Latino. The resort was clean an tidy. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Always willing to help out when needed. The food at the buffet and a la carts was great. So many options to chose from! The beach was clean with beautiful white sand. 4 pools to choose from with different levels of noise. The waterslides were a great bonus! Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The only downfall is the Disco is right underneath a portion of the hotel block. Unfortunately we were two floors above and the music from the disco could be heard pretty clearly. Doesn’t make for a great sleep if you’re planning to go to bed early. Otherwise our stay was fantastic!

The hotel is spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. The food and drinks were excellent, with plenty of variety every day, and the entertainment team kept the atmosphere fun without being overwhelming. The pools and beachfront are simply stunning — perfect for relaxing with an ocean breeze. Every detail exceeded my expectations. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a memorable vacation. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend RIU Latino to anyone visiting Cancún!

There were four pools with different vibes at each. Two swim up bars, a main pool with entertainment, and a quiet pool for relaxing. Great hotel and good entertainment. Night club was fun.

Cleanliness is the top priority for this resort and it shows! Rain or shine, they always have workers cleaning. Only reason why we gave 4 stars under staff and service is because we had to keep reminding them that it was our anniversary so that they'd give attention to that detail. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and overall we appreciated the staff.
