Have stayed here numerous times, always a great value and all my experiences have been great! Rooms & Decor may be a bit dated, but you can tell the owners take pride in trying to keep it up. I always stay in King rm & they've always been clean, beds very comfortable, NO BUGS, no overpowering funky smells, have never had a room that smelled of cig (very important to me.) Heat/AC, hot water/pressure, & all amenities have always worked well. Staff has always been WONDERFUL to work with! On this recent stay, I screwed up & accidentally booked 2 rooms for same night. Intended to add an extra night & somehow double-booked same night. By the time I discovered this, it was the day of chk-in and past the cancellation deadline,so by rights they could've charged me. Called & spoke with manager to explain, he was very gracious & helpful - was able to cancel & refund the extra booking, & extended another night at same (GREAT) rate that I pd online for first night. (normally price would've been higher at that time & they would've had every right to charge me more.). I also requested late checkout when I left. Many hotels do not allow this AT ALL, & some charge an xtra fee. They allowed me an extra hr (noon instead of 11am.) I needed to do some work b4 leaving and a bit later would've been helpful, but I was grateful for even an extra hr & they did not charge a fee. All staff I've encountered have always been friendly & helpful. A GREAT VALUE, always my first choice in area.
