The room I was in smelled bad. I could tell they had remodeled some aspects of the room, but other items made it seem like simply putting lipstick on a pig. For example: the countertop in the bathroom was new and lovely but they left the old chintzy faucet you can barely get your hands underneath. Also, the molding was coming off the bedside table. Instead of repairing it properly, they tacked it back on with nails. Just wasn’t what I’m used to seeing for Hampton Inn.
