Hot mess, homeless hotel

Do not stay here. Very old in disrepair. Stains on carpet, door knobs missing, no sink stopper, couldn't use the elevator. Homeless in and out with garbage bags. Cracks in tile floor. Property was a mess.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. The room was filthy. There were stains and particles on the floor as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The only saving grace was the bed seemed to be clean. To top it off, when I was leaving in the morning there were indications that a mouse had been in the room! Mouse droppings in my luggage. It was a literal nightmare.

The initial odor when first walking into the hotel was bad. Check in was fine. Elevator was dirty/odor. Odor continued through hallway. Carpet in room was gross. Looked like it had not been vacuumed and/or shampooed. Bugs on counter in room and in bathroom. There was writing on the bathroom wall that said '"don't flush toilet" After reading positive reviews when booking, I was definitively surprised.

I want a total refund, my wife jean arrived at this hotel and the room i booked with 2 queen beds were not available. James at the desk informed my wife jean rose said to call and get a refund. They tried putting her and my mother in law in a single bed room that is not what i booked. Therefor im requesting a full refund. Rooms were in a terrible condition. The carpet was torn, stained and dirty. We killed 3 roaches in the bathroom as soon as we walked in. The walls had large holes and the ac unit wasn't attached to the wall and I thought it would fall out into the room when I turned it on. The staff was nice and helpful but the hotel is deplorable.

The property had a very strong cigarette smoke smell.. I was told they were a “smoking” hotel… that should be made known in marketing so those allergic could avoid.. also… we had a spill on our bedding, and property was not able to supply us with additional bedding to change the bed , the staff at the front desk was as helpful as she could be, but apparently there was limited bedding available. Also.. saw a moving bug in the microwave .

I arrived at 3pm which was the check-in time on my reservation. I was told to come back and try again at 4pm because there were no rooms that were ready. Had been up traveling since 2am and just wanted to crash. So I was not happy.
