Good stay at Allegro. The highlights are the beach and the staff. The beach front is large, clean, good sun throughout the day, and lots of seating. No exciting snorkelling available in front of the resort, but excellent sand bottom for swimming. Please note currently you are not allowed access to the beach after dark until sunrise for safety concerns. We hope there is a solution to the concerns soon so that this is allowed in the future! The entertainment staff are awesome. Constant activities that cater to everyone. High energy all day long. We appreciated their efforts and hard work to make everyone’s stay super fun! Shout out to Diego, David, and Angel. Awesome job, keep up the great work!

This was our third stay at the Allegro in Cozumel. We enjoyed our stay. I feel like there were less employees working this visit resulting in longer wait times. I feel like the activity staff was lacking this visit. We could not make reservations for the Japanese restaurant after many tries. The bungalows also need some updating. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will choose this resort again.

The beach was excellent and the buffet style food was better than others we have stayed at. There was no separated bathroom sink so if your spouse is sleeping in it is hard to stay quiet. The staff was good, just no waiters walking around to order drinks from. This resort was very kid friendly so if that is not your jam I would be cautious. Overall I would stay here again

The resort is a bit dated but it has everything you need. The food was average, except for the Asian restaurant, which was very good. Some of the wait staff seemed a bit unhappy about working there. The beach was wonderful, and the pools were well taken care of. We upgraded to premium, which really wasn't worth it, unless you have trouble walking as the rooms are closer to the beach and pools. The food in the premium lounge was cold and so was the staff. I would stay here again just wouldn't upgrade next time. I had a massage while there and the spa was small but very nice. Olga was very good and I felt relaxed after. Definitely recommend a massage if you have the time.

Bien en general.

El hotel esta bien en general, pero para elmprecio por noche y see un hotel all-inclusive quedo muy bajo a mis expectativas. Todo tiene un cobro extra, hasta tienes que pagar por las luces para jugar tenis despues de meterse el sol. La comida en los restaurantes esta bien tiene buen sabor, pero necesitas estar en recepción a las 9:30am para hacer recervacion si quieres cenar en el restauran del tema de la noche, (porqué cambian de tema de comida cada dia) no es que tengan los 5 restaurantes disponibles todos los dias. Se suponia que podiamos tener equipo de snorkeling pero fuimos a preguntar varias veces y nos decian que no estaban disponibles, que el puerto estaba cerrado etc, pero habian otras personas RENTANDO el equipo y con ellas si super amables. Para las toallas de playa te dan tarjetas en recepcion cuando llegas una por persona, la tarjeta se intercambia por la toalla, al hacer check out deves regresar las tarjetas a recepcion, si las pierdes son $20 dolares por tarjeta, para sorpresa nos advirtieron que habia cocodrilos en las noches cercas de la playa, tambien habia medusas en el mar en la orilla de la playa y una le pico a uno de mis niños. Habia muchas personas con manchas grandes de picaduras de medusa. Las habitaciones estan pasables pero si se les nota la falta de mantenimiento. No hay servicio a la habitacion pero en el restaurante hay snacks de las 10pm a la 1am.

It felt like they were understaffed as the service was not comparable to other resorts. The night entertainment was always 15-30 mins late to start. The resort itself was very clean. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing atmosphere, Allegro is it. The food in the reservation restaurants was not as good as other resorts. Bell hops were very accommodating and more so than the front desk attendants.

The restaurant staff and housekeeping at Allegro are excellent. The staff at the front desk and management not so much. I had reservations for two rooms with double beds in each room for nine months only to be disappointed at check in. My family was spread across the resort in different buildings. This made it inconvenient. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. Very disappointed.
