The main pool bar was closed, so we didn’t use the main pool at all. Food wasn’t great but staff was good, always helpful and willing to do whatever. Staff was probably the best part of the stay.

The lobby and grounds are very impressive! Check in process took about 20 minutes, but we were served lemonade in line. The room was great with a beautiful view of the sea! The main pool is so beautiful with the waterfall and surrounding jungle! The oceanfront pool (across the road, accessible easily by tunnel) and beach area are small, but very pleasant. The sports bar was beautiful, and was a great place to watch NFL! The food at the buffet was sub-par, especially at breakfast! This hotel is absolutely not handicap-accessible. The walking paths across the resort are made of large and beautiful, flat rocks with cement in between. Unfortunately, it’s very uneven to walk on, and it would be difficult for anyone who has trouble walking or balance issues. The buffet has makeshift wooden ramps for wheelchairs to navigate, but they are not secured or stable.

This was our 4th time visiting Park Royal Cozumel! Our room in the tower had a beautiful ocean view and was very clean. The resort staff were all wonderful, very friendly and helpful as we have experienced on every visit. However, on this visit there was a noticeable decline in the quality of the food at the buffet and some of the buildings appeared to need upkeep. We also had an issue with our room temperature. It was just barely cool, and we called the front desk to request maintenance, they came very quickly however the issue was never resolved, which resulted in warm and sweaty sleeping conditions, not fun after spending all day in the sun! I learned from the staff that this resort recently became the “Grand” Park Royal “Luxury” Resort. While we saw some improvements being made on the property, I’d say there are more improvements needed to justify the new name.

Love the Dive shop next to Pool. The Hotel is focused on the local mexican community and thats very special for the locals.Speaki g Spanish at this Hotel is a plus. Also most activities are geared towards the Mexican community so be ready to fully immerse yourself with the locals and enjoy.Great Ocean view and lovely people. If you like to stay up late this hotel is for you and very kid friendly.

The hotel is nice but the food was terrible and a big dissapointment. They have cut to may corners obviously to save money.

I love staying here ,but We had a few hiccups this time the AC was leaking puddle standing water for 3 days but they did finally fix it on day 3. You also have to pay 5$ per person now to use the pier to scuba dive even though you are a guest at the resort so plan accordingly. Staff are still very friendly, and try their best to help . I will return

When we got there, there was a difference in price and we had to pay an environmental cost of 129.00 that we were not aware of. When I get to my room the sheets were dirty and I had to let the water run for 20 mins to get hot. The next day, They cleaned my room and put more dirty sheets on the bed. The ice bucket had dirty water still in it from a prior guest. Then on the last day my toilet stopped working. The food wasn't bad, but the plates were chipped. There were dirty towels on the floor in the lobby where the housing was. and the pool was despicable. You could not see the bottom of the pool. Let's say, I should have asked for my money back. I will not stay there ever again.
