Overall it is a pretty nice place to stay. Food could have been better, but no real complaints. The staff was great! One staff member was especially nice. His name was Bryant and he worked apparently in medical. I sprained my ankle at the pool and he came down and cleaned my knee and helped with my ankle. He came back next day and wrapped my ankle & cleaned knee.

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The ground were so lush and beautiful, it felt like we were walking through a jungle. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Our favorite bartenders were Ruben and Kevin! They were fun and remembered our drinks every time we came around. The pools were clean and gorgeous, the beach was amazing and perfectly sized with great snorkling views right off the beach. We had a nature view room but had an amazing view of the ocean and cruise ships. It was also very clean and they made sure it was cleaned daily. The food at the Italian restaurant was SO GOOD. We ended up extending our stay! Good vibes all around, highly recommend!

Pros: Overall the hotel was good and clean. Although the beach is small, it’s beautiful and snorkeling is fantastic. The staff at the restaurants are very nice and friendly. Location is good,you can walk to many places for shopping and there’s also restaurants within walking distance. Cons: People go early in the morning to reserve chairs and show up whenever they want leaving people that want to be there without a place to,put their stuff. We tried to watch a game at the sports bar and our teenage sons were kicked out because they say that no minors were allowed(two days prior we saw kids watching a game inside and nobody said anything!)No explanation as to why, they just said they are not allowed. It’s a sports bar! To watch sports and we wanted to watch a game and couldn’t. The elevator from the lobby does not work ,we had to carry our very heavy suitcase up the stairs on our way to check out(somebody did help us after checking in). On a positive note we were allowed to stay and use the facilities after checking out, we had to leave an ID. I have no idea what being an Expedia VIP means.We were told we would get coupons but we had to go get them and look for a specific person.If we are supposed to get benefits why not getting them when checking in?

❌❌NEVER, NEVER I repeat never use EXPEDIA!!!!!!!! They made us pay $1788 more because of there mistake! we booked a package with our 2 girls and they said we put in 3 and under…nope when you put there ages in on the first page to search resorts it never asked again. Their website doesn’t change for each resort on how they charge for kids. You should’t have to look at the resorts website to see how they charge for kids. Your trusting Expedia. Never again. Wasted 3 1/2 hours on the phone they will not help you and try to fix it! 😊🏝️The resort is beautiful and amazing!! We would go again, our family loved it. They helped us with anything and everything. Happy smiling and having fun always. The view from our room was breathtaking! Book through the resorts website and you will be great and enjoy your vacation.

We tried every restaurant which wasn’t even mediocre. The buffet had limited selections and was never set up on time for breakfast. I chose this place as the Wyndham was sold out, told by others about the food and experienced it myself. Work on the menu guys and do a little more for breakfast.

We very much enjoyed our stay at GPR. Although the rooms are small and older, they are very clean, as is the entire property. We had a garden view, and the foliage is beautiful. I really like the water filling stations located throughout the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling right on the beach. I thought the food was just ok. Plenty of options on the buffet. You won’t go hungry. This is a quieter resort which we also loved. Very convenient location, just a short $10 cab ride to town.
