I loved the the grand premium level..the staff is amazing, especially Ian and Diego! They were both helpful answering questions also.The restaurant staff, the maids and those who rake and keep your beach area beautiful. There was a quest who was telling us a lady(who they thought was a boss of some sort)was lecturing some of the staff in front of guests..some do know spanish language and was pretty poor taste..please keep that in mind when having a meeting in front of public complaining to them they werent doing their job...as far as me and the 3 I had with loved not just your resort but the staff makes us want to come back...please treat your staff like you would happily treat us visiting as it is because of your staff & their hospitality towards you will see us next year. Thank you very much to the aqua aerobics trainer Iris! You are the best. The rest of the staff was quite friendly. The food was normal in the main restaurant. It was very tasty in the fish restaurant. We went swimming to the neighboring beach because of the seaweed. There is a very beautiful Caribbean Sea with many fish and stingrays.

Meliá is truly the best bang for your buck! We went for our honeymoon and they surprised us with a door decoration and a bottle of wine. All the food was great - no complaints! Only had to wait in line for breakfast at the omelette bar, but that wasn’t too bad. All the wait staff are phenomenal! They are so attentive and friendly. Room view was great! The only small complaints are that it got a little noisy at night with machinery and the spin bikes at the gym were very, very outdated. They did have a lot of activities available for both adults and families. If you don’t mind being away from downtown, this is a great spot! It’s not walkable to the shops, but the taxis are very safe and reliable. We did rent a Jeep for one day and that was really fun. They did have water sports available there, but it was very windy so we did not partake. Overall, we were very pleased because we just wanted to relax.

Love the look and feel of the resort. Room was good and ocean view was worth the premium for us. Beach Bar was open as saw swim up bar. The bummer for me was the food. The buffet was better meal than any of the ‘reservation required’ meals which were usually bad.

It was so fun with the kids and grandkids. Lots to do and great programs for all with snorkeling nearby, beach volleyball, pickleball, tennis, beautiful beach, very clean, great staff, etc. Food ok, not exceptional.

The staff was wonderful. From concierge front desk to all of the restaurants staff. The people who helped clean the rooms and stock the rooms. Jose the captain of the restaurant. All the wait staff. And to top it off Felipe was there one we first checked in and when we left. Everything was so clean and always in order. Everyone was so polite and wonderful to talk to. It truly was Paradise.

We love Melia for our family vacation with young kids. The staff is excellent! Absolutely adore the activity director Sussy, who always makes our trip extra enjoyable. The buffet food could be better and getting restaurant reservations is a bit difficult and frustrating. Would like the ability to eat at the restaurants each night or at least make reservations for when you get there.

Very nice resort facility. Appears quite modern. Directly on the beach. Resort provides decent amount and quality of seating around pools and on the beach. Food, primarily buffet; is top quality, and serves a lot of guests quickly. Staff is friendly, and helpful. Reservations for other on-site restaurants was difficult to obtain-rush to make reservations when the one customer service agent is available and before all reservations possibilities are taken. The reservation setup is my main complaint of this resort. Staff members are bilingual, but I assume most speak multiple languages. Rooms are very comfortable; daily maid services, balcony area, comfortable beds, dorm fridges with stocked beverages, chairs, tables, desk, closet, and valuables safe. Made a note for the pre check-in questionnaire to celebrate a family member’s birthday, and the resort provided a banner and balloons to the room, and very well received! Nightly on-site entertainment provided. Daytime activities offered; beach volleyball, bingo, pool volleyball, and yoga. Bars for refreshments were a little confusing; where are they, what’s open and when, but they do serve name brands. Staff members were constantly cleaning all areas. Family friendly, with all ages present. Best resort of three visits to Cozumel, with price a major consideration. Would gladly stay again.
