Only annoying thing was the noise that, we found out in the morning, came from the fridge in the room. Consequently not a great nights sleep! But check-in was fine the service in the bar was fine and the food in the bar was fine.

Probably ok as a business trip

No where for dogs other than in the room. If advertised as dog friendly should be more places to be able to take the dog. Took card details when arrived which was expected but payment was taken before we even booked out.

A change of ownership?

The hotel is still a nice place to stay, but it was far better a few years ago, maybe an owner or management change has happened? A few attention to detail things like, the TV’s in the bar don’t have sports anymore, wing Wednesday is twice as expensive and the bar area used to be a nice buzzing focal point. A few of the fixtures are showing signs of age, but don’t let this sway you from booking as it’s still a decent launch pad for your holiday.

Great one-night stay. Lovely big room with sofa and comfortable bed :) Parking available at cost, restaurant within the hotel and decent sized mugs in the room for my cuppa in the morning!

This was a wonderful hotel experience from start to finish. Myself, my wife and our 10 year old daughter stayed in a family room which was clean and spacious. We received a very warm welcome on check-in, unfortunately I did not take the gentleman's name so I can't name-drop him here. Similarly, the lady on check out was lovely too. We were staying as my wife was flying from Gatwick. It was a ten minute drive to the airport from the hotel. The location is really convenient if you want to avoid on-airport parking prices. Overnight parking was either £10 or £12. I believe that to be very reasonable. Myself and my daughter have already booked again for two week's time when wifey returns, and intend to make use of the pool on that occasion. Many thanks to all the staff. You have demonstrated what great customer service is all about.

Great little find, will return.

Very clean, spacious room. The staff were lovely and the food was good too. 2 for £15 on cocktails before 6:30 helped the night go along smoothly!
