The sleek kitchen area has been cleverly designed to include everything needed to rustle up tasty dishes for two. To the rear of the property is an inviting king-size bed and a separate shower room. Outside, dine alfresco on a summer’s evening on the terrace, admiring the far-reaching views across rolling fields. After dinner, sink into the bubbling hot tub under the stars. There are on-site stables and kennels, should you require daycare for horses or dogs during your holiday.
The holiday home sits on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, providing mile upon mile of remote walking routes through the wild and rugged landscape. As well as its iconic granite tors and heather-clad moorland, the park also boasts pretty picnic spots and a fantastic choice of places for wild swimming. Alternatively, spend the day at the coast in Exmouth (25 miles), where you’ll find a long, sandy beach, traditional seaside attractions and eateries, and fantastic clifftop paths to explore.
