basic but clean. Staff was quite gracious

The only problem was that Expedia only allows a single person to book a double room and ends up paying 2x the regular amount if they walked in off the street. Management was more than gracious in working this out and charging me cheaper rate~I think Expedia needs to work this out with management so there are no surprises!

It was a good experience for me, coming from Peru. Friendly advice and suggestions for activities in Cuenca. Affordable rates and the most interesting room. Hot shower! I enjoyed it more than any other hotel or hostal.
