Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. El Peñol Rock is within walking distance—just be cautious of traffic along the road. Once there, you can access the site via the staircase entrance. We were able to run from the hotel to the rock a couple of times with no issues. If you’re driving, the hotel offers plenty of parking. Guatapé is about 4 kilometers away, or roughly a 5-minute drive.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly kind — truly the best part of the stay. Everything was very clean and the service overall was excellent. That said, the room itself was extremely small and uncomfortable for three people, and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. The food at the restaurant was good, but the breakfast buffet was a big disappointment. The food wasn’t hot, the setup didn’t seem to have the proper equipment for a real buffet, and even though the flavors were good, cold eggs and soggy arepas are definitely a no for me. Great staff, great service, but the hotel setup and buffet need improvement.
