A very cozy but nice size cabin. Our family of 6 was very comfortable. We brought food and made meals in the full size kitchen. And it's not too far from Holiday World

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We did have trouble with contacting the host. When calling we just got a recording saying they were closed for renovations. But the cabin its self was great. Just what I would expect when renting a cabin by the lake. We will definitely keep them in our list of places to stay!

The cabin was a cozy place to stay and close enough to holiday world without the headache of keeping my younger kids silent like I would have if we stayed in a hotel! Very clean and organized!

Holiday World Getaway

We stayed here while visiting Hoilday World and it's a cute little cabin with everything you need. It's only 20 minutes from the park and much more affordable than staying by the park. Very clean and the beds are all very comfy. Would stay again.

Cozy and scenic little cabin

Many modern updates, comfy and clean beds, quiet days/evenings, good fishing, and eateries and shopping 15 minutes away in Huntingburg. Worth a visit.

Very pricey for a run down lake community.Back in the day I'm sure it was fabulous but yellow banks has nothing recreational. The lake is full of geese which in turn leaves the entire property covered in goose crap. If they could somehow just fence off the cabins that they rent and you don't have to see anything else in the community the cabins would be okay. They need to get a real cleaning crew in there I understand that they are log cabins so that they are hard to clean but this cabin was infested with ants. Cobwebs all over and mud dauber nests.

The cabin overall was good for the price. We went to the area for Holiday World, and we wanted something off the beaten path and not a hotel, but close enough for convenience. This cabin definitely checked those boxes. However, the place could really use a good, deep cleaning. There were several things that just weren't clean (TV had fingerprints, console was very dusty, windowsills were filthy, floor was in need of a good sweep and mop). It was good for the price, though, and did do the job we needed. The kitchen was supplied with what we needed, there was adequate bedding, and plenty of storage. And the front porch as very appreciated. It rained our entire stay so we spent quite a bit of time on the porch watching it rain. With a little sprucing up this could be a 5 star cabin.

Well Maintained Cabin

Nice little cabin for a quick night stay before heading to Holiday World. Clean and ready to go upon arrival. Cookware was provided and made a homemade dinner possible. Holiday World was only 15 min away. We will reserve again on our next trip to Holiday World!

Cabin

Loved this little cozy cabin. Loved the fact it had full size appliances and a tankless water heater. Highly recommended if you’re just wanting a getaway from the busy life. Did care much for the attractions in the area (very disappointed) but I give this cabin a 5 out of 5.

Very clean and nice!

The cabin was so cute and clean. The owner had everything well labeled with instructions. They gave me information on the day of my stay, like lock code etc. without any prompts. It was close to Holiday World! Very nice. I would stay again and recommend to family and friends!!!

Cute Cabin but infested with House Flies, we had to kill over 20 our first night, also over abundance of dead bugs in window tracks.Shower had Mold in corners, and standing water, did not drain well. All in all, the Cabin needs a good Scrubbing.

The bathroom door needs fixed. I am with my grown children and don’t like that they could see down the sides of the door into the bathroom . We couldn’t stay outside because there was a skunk running around, don’t know if this could have been helped but it had been hanging out there awhile according to neighbors, someone needs to call someone out to get it. It could be cleaned a little better. The location wasn’t what I expected a lot of locals in the back flying down the road. Over all it did the job we needed but we will not be back

Needs TLC

The inside of the cabin is nice but there were a number of concerns: 1-We could not sit on the front porch since it was infested with wasps/hornets of all sorts. They were going in and out of all the holes in the wood. They need to be professionally exterminated and all the holes sealed. 2-We had to clean out the dirty refrigerator and freezer before we could put anything in it. Floor was also dirty. 3-Shower drain backed up. 4-They are the only ones that wanted to charge for an early check in if I arrived before 2 PM. I was never asked to pay for an early check in before by anybody. 5-Grass had not been mowed in weeks. 6-Lake across the street is more like a large algae filled pond and neighborhood leaves much to be desired. So nothing can be done about the last point but the rest needs to be fixed and it could be a 4 star cabin.
