Not handicap accesible and dirty

At check in i explaimed we needed a 1st floor room due to my fiancés back surgery. They said they had none ( would appear long term residents have all of those) and said we have an elevator to the second floor. We took that room. Saw a few roaches scury down the drain and a strange bloody spot in the bathroom. When we tried to leave we found that the elevator buttons to call it to the second floor didn't work at all. I had to go down the stairs and then ride the elevator up to the 2nd floor to leave. We were under the impression that it was the only elevator. We found on checkout that they're we another at the very end also apparently. Checkout clerk didn't seem concerned about the elevator buttons when we told him. The bottom of the outside facing door also did not seal at all. Not impressed and wont stay again.

First time to stay at Motel 6 as I was just needing something close to where I needed to be and inexpensive. Newly renovated and just the basics, but was clean with a comfortable bed. No complaints.

Hotel is OK. Nothing special about a motel six, but the bed was comfortable. The only negative I will say is the noise from the highway.
