We loved our stay at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Hotel. It’s very clean, beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to anything that you needed. Everyone was super helpful polite and we will definitely stay there again.

Didn’t sleep more than 2 hours due to loud music, shouting people in their rooms and in the hallways. Advertised as having “soundproof” rooms. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Turned our anniversary weekend into a very unpleasant stay.

The location is a bit inconvenient if you don’t have a car, there’s plenty of restaurants within walking distance but the property is entirely fenced in except for the main entrance meaning you have to circle the entire property to be able to leave from the other side where the nicer part of town is. Rooms were clean and spacious but not soundproofed, easy to hear your neighbors especially in the bathrooms.

What a poorly run resort. The staff were seemed to have better things to do than provide basic service. The pool areas were totally unsupervised - young kids swimming underwater in the hot tubs. Night club music blasted all day and several parties that went way too long into the night. So much for some R&R.

Lu was absolutely wonderful at check-in; she went out of her way to ensure I could get in a room several hours before the standard check-in time so that I could get settled and go enjoy a festival near the property. I just appreciated it so much and want to give her a shout-out!
