The kitchenette was not equipped with anything, except Dave microwave and fridge raider. Nothing else. The room did not have a trashcan of any kind. The bathroom sink backed up. The shower water would not turn off completely. The coffee bar in the lobby was miserable. The coffee pot was broken one day and we had no food service the next day.

Only needed one night and this place fit location and price. Front desk staff were friendly enough, but when we went into the hall to get to the room, the dank funk of weed just permiated the whole place. Initial impressions of the room were ok, until we open the curtains and it looked as if someones toddler, or dog, had smeared the window with some unidentifiable goo. Kitchenette area was good enough, although showing some age, but no real complaints. We didn't use anything but the fridge. The bathroom fan didn't work and there was a science experiment growing on the ceiling above the shower. Obvious signs of leaking above the shower as well. In the morning my wife saw a bug (roach) crawling up the wall that disappearred behind the wall art. as we left the room, we were once again greated by the dank funk of weed permiating the hallway in this no smoking facility. Other than that, it was great, except for the mattress. It needs to be thrown out because I could feel the springs moving beneath me.

I was really disappointed with my stay here. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 p.m., but I arrived around 4 and was told the room still wasn’t ready. There were several other guests waiting too. Staff explained that none of housekeeping had shown up that day and managers were cleaning the rooms themselves. I understand that things happen, but being that this particular weekend was bike week.. I feel they should have had a back up plan. There didn’t seem like there was one in place . My room wasn’t ready until almost 7 p.m., so we ended up waiting in the parking lot for hours with my 2 small dogs. While waiting, I noticed the parking lot area had a section full of trash, where the trees were which didn’t leave a great impression. Inside, the hallways smelled very humid and stuffy. Once I finally got into my studio room, I realized there were no utensils or plates in the kitchen. I had to go to the front desk and request them. Overall, the experience felt very disorganized. The long wait, the lack of preparation, and the condition of the property made the stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.
