Our room was on the third floor on the rear of the building it was very quiet We had a great suprise on our last night when a herd of goats including kids came climbing down the hill and then later when back up the steep hill Restaurant was excellent we took advantage of of the June special 16oz T-bone steak $12.95 Service was good

Probably the best deal in Deadwood Colorado. My stay was in June 2026 room was immaculate staff at the desk and in the restaurant or top-notch. Won a few bucks in the casino as well. The restaurant has a 16 ounce T-bone dinner for $12.99 along with other cheap eats like a breakfast egg Benedict McMuffin sandwich for $2.99. I really enjoyed my stay. Whoever manages this place does a great job.

The First Gold did not disappoint. The rooms are recently renovated along with the newly finished Horseshoe Restaurant down below. It is conveniently located across the Days of 76 arena. There is a casino area at this location too. There is a trolley stop located nearby to take you downtown Deadwood. Friendly-Helpful staff. Make sure to check out their affordable rates!
