Parking and Check In is weird

The hotel had a super friendly gentleman in a golf cart to direct you to the lobby to check in and parking which was needed as it was very confusing. The hotels parking lot was full and had to park across the street, not a big deal, but confusing and weird that they don’t have enough parking on site.

Our 1st night in Deadwood, we stayed at a hotel further down Main Street on the way out of town. That hotel was pretty run down and in need of updates. We moved to Four Points for out 2nd night and there is a world of difference. Everything is newer and cleaner. The location was great for our evening walk down Main to try our luck at several casinos along the way. I felt totally safe even though it was relatively dark at 10 pm. It’s early September and the tourist season seems to be winding down. The weather is perfect and it’s still a great time to visit. We also enjoyed the outside fire pit by the lobby bar. I highly recommend the Four Points.

This stay was absolutely phenomenal! The staff is wonderful! Private parking garage made my husband and I feel good about leaving some things in the bed of our truck considering we were on a long haul ride trip! Everything is within walking distance! They were absolutely wonderful to our four legged guest too! I absolutely recommend this clean and comfortable atmosphere! Deadwood itself is a good time!

Parking is a joke, high dollar holds on CC

Parking is less than ideal, hotel charges 20 a night for premium parking but it’s not controlled meaning anyone with a key card can park there, paying for parking is pointless. I have a 399$ hold on my credit card after I checked out? I paid in full through Hotel.com? Was told it would be released in a few days? This in addition to the 50$ hold for incidentals.
