Her trip was both good and bad. The property itself is really nice, but we had issues with a terrible sound in our room that was coming from either the vent or the door seal or something and it was a loud, high pitched wind sound that we had on both nights we stayed there. We couldn't figure out what it was, but it was incredibly annoying and it totally affected our stay. When we did complain to the hotel about it they offered a very small refund but didn't really apologize or make a satisfactory offer for our inconvenience. That kind of irritated me. We did go through Expedia for this property and they tried to help us but also did not come through in the manner which I would have hoped for. It was very minimal for the price that we paid for the room, which I believe was kind of expensive. I don't know that we would stay at that hotel again, but we would use Expedia again.

There was a mix-up at first with our arrival date showing one day later even though I had a confirmation with the date of arrival. They were very accommodating to accept our reservation with a different but satisfactory room. The room was very clean. Housekeeping is not daily, but we were asked if we needed new towels, etc. nearly every day.

Good location on Main St Decent Parking Quiet Only minor complaint is you had to be in the shower under the shower head to turn on water. Completely stupid design as you get blasted with freezing water before it warms up

They were nicely remodeled, but when I booked the hotel I was expecting the jacuzzi suite in which have stayed many years, when arrived, the jacuzzi suite was available without the jacuzzi tub; I told them that should of been taken off the hotels app.

We always stay at the Hampton Inn when we are in Deadwood. Great place to stay with lots of machines, love the Hot Seat & other prizes given throughout the day, very good continental breakfast, rooms are nice and beds are comfy. Rooms were recently updated and look very modern and nice. Staff are very friendly, and free parking across the street. Love Hampton Inn at Tin Lizzie!
