It was a good stay. Just one night, but it is in downtown so you can stroll around and sight see easily. Beautiful tall windows in the rooms. Very nice. Maybe would be a little loud during the summer nightlife noise..

Loved the old building charm. The rooms have all been recently upgraded, brand new bathroom in ours. Staff overly eager to help. Great steaks at the restaurant. Best tging was the location. Right inthe middle of downtown so you can just walk everywhere. We would stay here again.

All rooms are newly renovated with fridge microwave and coffee maker. Rooms are small and lighting is not great but I would definitely stay there again.

We love the history of the Franklin, and the updates in the rooms are beautiful, we had a blast! Only negative thing we noticed was in the 2 room suites the only mirror was in the bathroom, to have another 1-2 in the rooms would be nice.

Lovely rooms, beautiful hotel. We weren't there for the casino, so found that a little irritating, but less so than most other places in Deadwood. The Restaurant was fantastic.

They have been remodeling rooms so they are very nice. Especially for the price.A little small.Needed a chair but bed was very comfortable. Close to everything.Staff was great would recommend this to anyone especially considering the price
