Room was very clean and bed was comfortable…pillows are horrible but luckily we brought our own. It was good for what we paid. The frig did not work and we struggled with the outlets a bit with our plugs falling out, but all we needed was a good nights sleep and it was a good place to stop overnight on our way to our destination…they have all the amenities we needed - bathroom is very small, but decent towels and toiletries. No carpeting in the room if you don’t mind that, but I’m sure that’s how they keep it clean which is more important to me. I do like someone at the front desk to say hi or goodbye - old school I guess but all we did was drop our key off and go at 7:30. It’s the way things seem to be going in hotels!

Working out of town and staying here this is my 2 week staying. It’s a great place, sheets are clean it’s quieter it’s central to downtown. And the people that I believe own it are awesome and very kind even at late check ins.

We did not have the breakfast but it was typical of a hotel breakfast. We liked that there were restaurants within walking distance and it was quiet. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The stay was only one evening and night. The biggest issue was the location In a town that has the most “labyrinthine” streets, complicated by a closed bridge over a river, requiring a circuitous drive just getting to the other side of town. The bridge “situation,” of course was NOT the fault of the facility.

Given that it's the only hotel in town, the niche--hunting lodge--decor is a bad choice. Everything is in cringingly bad taste. But the bed was comfy and there were plenty of pillows, so points for that.

Good experience

Overall it was a good experience. The hotel was clean. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast had a decent selection, but if you’re not a waffle or cereal person you will want to go out for breakfast. Bed was comfy and clean. The decor was a little dated, but I liked the rustic cabin vibe. Overall I would recommend and stay again.

Decor was nice. Enjoyed the theme. Rustic furniture,etc. Breakfast was good,more than I expected. Besides the standard,cereal,muffins,bagels bread,,waffles,juices, and coffee. They also had,sausage links and boiled eggs. Negative- electricity went off when the hair dryer and microwave were being used at the same time.No shower gel when already in the bathtub to shower.
