Beautiful setting. We had a hotel room overlooking the river. We thought we read on Expedia that we would have a microwave and fridge. We had neither. We heated water in the coffee maker to make oatmeal and ramen noodles.

The room was clean however, i believe we were the first day of the season and felt the room needed to be aired out a little bit.It seemed a little musty. There was plenty of parking and beds were comfortable. They do not serve breakfast

This place is a great location to Denali which is why we stayed, however when we come back we will be trying out another place for the reasons listed below. Pros : the view in the back is gorgeous, the check in & check out process was easy, and this location offered plentiful parking. The beds were comfortable Cons: the train comes by and is so loud it had me awake 2 nights in a row, there is NO FRIDGE in the room and no water station by the ice station for each building , this was widely annoying and you have to pay for Wi-fi for after signing up for the free 30 minutes, in 2026 just not cool - it also needs a spruce of maixtenance.

Be absolutely sure you want this location because once you click confirm, they will NOT let you out of your reservation. 100% cancellation penalty. I did not test this but it’s what was in their confirmation email. The lodging was fine.. I mean if I’m paying enough for a ritz Carlton, I’d like to get something better than a fancy red roof inn but I guess to take what you can get..
