I love staying at the Hyatt in Des Moines, but this time was different. It was 75° in my room so hot. I had asked the front desk to help me out and they got maintenance and acted like this was a single incident come to find out the next day, they have been having troubles with the heat And I guess I’m disappointed because they flat out lied to me.

Check in and check out were great. The lady at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name) was so personable. We were part of a wedding party and she was so kind to all of us! I can tell she truly loves her job! The room was very clean and comfortable. We had no complaints!

It was just ok

We stay at this hotel a lot and normally we love it. But it is starting to lack in the quality. The TV in the room wasn’t working and so we tried to. Stream to it and it kept cutting out. The building has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The elevators have loose handrails as an example. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. I wouldn’t say do go here I’m just saying they are starting to let things go.
