Not great customer service

The place was clean. Newly remodeled. The bed was a little stiff for my liking. The motel actually had a good smell to it. The person that checked us in was a complete jerk. We had a miscommunication on our rooms. So instead of taking the time to explain what he should've explained the first time, he huffed at us and rolled his eyes and talked to us like we were stupid. However, the guy that was at our check out was very friendly.

I thought I was splurging for the deluxe king suite but didn’t realize that didn’t mean much. When we walked in to our room the heat was suffocating the thermostat was set to 80 and it took 4 hours to get the room comfortable after turning the heat off. The size of the room was the only thing deluxe providing an additional living room space however everything was either broke or dirty and just not what I would have expected from a Wyndham Property. Broken: desk chair, recliner arm pull, shampoo container, blow dryer, door frame holding security lock. Missing: kitchenette supplies, empty facial tissue box, hangers in closet Dirty: bed spread had yellowish quarter size spots all over, shower walls had long black hairs and built up disk grime on handle bars, floors covered in hair and dust and possible spills not mopped up, weird orange sticky stuff under desk. Breakfast the next morning was adequate providing pancakes, muffins, eggs, oatmeal packs, biscuits & gravy and sausage patty’s. There was cereal but no milk and the juice machine was out of order. Thankfully we had such a great time out and about that the hotel experience didn’t ruin our trip.

Truly Pet-Friendly

My stay was good. It was a super last minute booking because the hotel we booked was dog-friendly not pet-friendly. The front desk agent was super understanding and very helpful. He showed us the best place to park our moving truck and got us settled in quickly. There are no coffee pots in the room but they offer community coffee in the morning by the front desk. I wish they had offered slightly bigger cups for the coffee instead of mini 4 oz. cups. Overall I would stay there again.
