Front desk not willing to address disturbances

The hotel in general was very nice with large sized room and good breakfast. Unfortunately there were a couple families there with out of control little kids under 5, unsupervised, screaming and running up and down the hallways throwing things at our doors- this went on for a couple hours and after 10pm. I reported it to the front desk thinking they would address it, but it contined on. This situation was one of the worst experiences in a hotel, where it was uncomfotable in our room and down in the breakfast area with kids running wild. I would not stay in a hotel like this again if front desk are not willing to address disturbances that impact over half of your hotel guests.

We were only here for one night, but our stay was great. We slept well, and we appreciated the 24-hour hot tub because we got in later in the evening. Every staff member we encountered was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we are in the Des Moines area!
