Buckinghamshire accommodation from NZ$152

Really enjoyed our two days in the New Forest and the location of the hotel although we only ate dinner in hotel on first night and went out to the Potting Shed in Hyde for our breakfasts which were excellent. We had room 107 a superior room and the old master bedroom of the house, unfortunately it was right over the front door making it noisy whenever someone came in and the door to the room was glass which had been painted on the inside so when someone came upstairs the lights came on and shone through the glass and panels either side which illuminated the room. The hotel in general because it’s an old house is full of noises as people move around and floorboards creak, doors bang and voices carry. Despite all of the above we liked the hotel and staff and intend to speak to them first about returning but in a quieter room much further away from the main entrance.

The shower was rotten. Changed from + 40 to 25 degrees centigrade in a matter of seconds. No use washing your hair there. Room was hilarious though; gold, fake leather and crystal. It’s like a very fancy brothel.
