The Pelican Hotel, Ghana The Pelican Hotel is easily the best hotel we have stayed at in Ghana over the years. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were always very accommodating. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and truly deserve a five-star-plus rating. The hotel’s food is excellent, with a wonderful variety of options to choose from. On this trip, we first stayed at another hotel in Ghana, but The Pelican is far superior in every way. We will be travelling frequently to Ghana from the UK in the future, and The Pelican will definitely be our base. Stepping into the foyer immediately feels calm and welcoming — we were even offered complimentary drinks as soon as we arrived to check in. I truly hope these high standards never slip, as this hotel made our time in Ghana absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend The Pelican Hotel to anyone planning a stay in Ghana.

The air conditioner was not cooling as expected

I was a solo traveler but here for a group event, Labadi was an amazing hotel! The staff was very attentive and friendly from the moment I arrived. I had a lovely suite which was very clean and well appointed and had a ton of room! Even those in my group with standard rooms said they were very spacious as well. I particularly liked the large bathroom and having plenty closet space. The bed was also very comfortable, I was always sad to have to leave it in the morning! I used the fitness center a few times which has a nice selection of equipment and was clean. The pool area did run short on towels on the weekend but was overall lovely! All the meals I had were delicious and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was also great, plenty of options both self serve buffet and made to order. When I return to Accra I will definitely stay at Labadi again!
