Lamb County accommodation from NZ$120

The evening/weekend staff is not helpful or friendly at all. I had a room reserved for three and needed to use the sofa bed but the room didn’t have any blankets or pillows for it. When I asked, I was told they were all out. How does a hotel run out of pillows and blankets? I asked for a third towel and was told I had to come get it because they didn’t do “room service.” Room is advertised as coming with an iron and ironing board and ours was missing. They told me they didn’t have any extras. We had even called ahead of time to confirm they had one so I persisted and they had to go take one from another room. The hot tub was dirty. You couldn’t even see the bottom. The main manager was nice and apologetic about my concerns, but that doesn’t excuse all the problems.

The second night of our three night stay thr power went out in the hotel, except for a few rooms. There was no communication on estimated length of outage, if anyone was working on restoring power, etc. Our trip was for heart testing. The temperature in the room mixed with my heart issues made it extremely hard to breath. Taking the stairs down was okay, but climbing them to the 4th floor, it caused me to have chest pain, palpitations, and severe shortness of breath. Because of the excessive heat in our room and no idea when power would be restored we cut our trip short. We checked out at midnight and drove 3 hours to our home.
