There wasn’t anything wrong with the room, per sé- it just wasn’t what I was expecting. The location is a motel and not a hotel. That’s on me for not paying better attention to the listing. The room was pleasant enough for an overnight stay, but I wouldn’t stay for longer than a night. The bathtub was slow to drain and the room felt a little Spartan but again- nothing outright bad. Parking was well lit. Felt safe. The breakfast was hot and much more enticing than cold/snacks breakfast fare at some places. Staff was very friendly and polite. I personally wouldn’t stay again, but only because I prefer a more “bells and whistles” type of atmosphere.
