We stayed here for the Chris Brown concert. Location was perfect and about a 5 minute walk to Ford field. Walking distance to restaurants and casinos. Would definitely stay here again.

Struggled getting around the building because the valet lane was blocked due to events. More signs might be nice. Beds were super comfortable, elevator was supersonic, easy walk to Comerica and Ford Field. Great entertainment out the window on Gratiot! The staff was incredible! The amount of patience and kindness we saw was great! I admire them all for that level of patience.

Valet staff was not staffed adequately for the amount of guests coming and going. and lobby furniture need update as table or stool waa uneven by valet stand. Logistics could be improved. Late night staff not positively engaging and front desk staff were lounging in lobby. She did not even greet ua as we came in and she was at the couches

The Hilton Garden Inn staff were all very helpful and friendly. The “people mover” as they called it, had a stop near the hotel. We were able to see more of the city because of this mode of transportation. Unfortunately, there was a private parking lot outside our window, which made it very noisy at night as there are many venues in the area that used the lot. The Music Hall, the Gem theater, and the Detroit Lions Stadium was right down the street. Great location if you want to attend any of these venues..
This was the view from our room. I believe the venue is the Music Hall. The Gem Therater and Detroit Lions Stadium was a 2 minute walk.

Loved the option of breakfast buffet or made to order. The desk clerks were absolutely excellent. Valet parking was right next to the hotel making car retrieval extremely quick and efficient. The type of room reserved wasn't available. Only decaf and tea in room. Door frame had been newly painted? The door kept sticking--very challenging to open and close.
