Great Ocean views from every room!

The 13th of Summer is a romantic get-away or a comfy family holiday cottage on the Marin/Sonoma coast. Be awed-
Dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean, waves rushing up the shore. Grand sunsets from hug picture windows or even better from the deck with a glass of wine!

It's just a short five minute stroll to the beach.

When not watching sunsets or the sea, guests can enjoy the household surroundings. The cottage is filled with original paintings and sculpture by local artists. No need to work at a wood burning fire. An environmentally conscience gas burning stove is romantic for that fire-wood stove look, warmth and ambiance. The energy efficient gas heater keeps the cottage cozy.

Take a nap; watch the waves.! The westerly living room has an extra long down filled sofa, huge soft chair w/ ottoman and oak rocker. Lots of lamps make reading and close work enjoyable. The view is wonderful. The easterly sitting area is a cozy conversation or media area and has an overstuffed chair with ottoman and love seat.

An induction range and a refrigerator are in the kitchen. From the sink is a view of the front garden and from the stove, the sea. New smart TV

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, blue leather wingback chair and oak dresser. Reading the paper, drinking coffee, and watching birds scamper along the shore make staying tucked in under the down comforter a morning pleasure.

The knotty pine bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed, antique oak dresser and upholster high-back chair. When standing by the windows, the bay and Bodega Head can be enjoyed. Beach chairs and blanket are in this closet

Upstairs and between the two bedrooms is a half-bath with sink and toilet.

Downstairs is the full bath with shower, toilet, sink,and, of course, a great view of the ocean.

The deck provides a great area to relax with teak chaise lounges, table and chair for taking in the view. A cozy and comfortable dining area with the grand Pacific Ocean before you makes inside dining a delight.

The comfy cottage at 13 Summer will reward you with romance and relaxation!

Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. Note: there is pet fee of $50 for one large dog or two small dogs.

Parking is very limited in Dillon Beach. The cement drive-way along the south side of the house will accommodate one sedan or SUV. Non reserved parking is allowed across the street along the cement retaining wall. I ask that guests let me know ahead of time if they plan to plug in their electric..

Overnight guests are limited to 5 people.

Cozy, Great View, Well stocked, Clean

Enjoyed our stay and Cherry is a great host. Only concern the wife and I had was the step down out of the bedrooms.If you had to use the bathroom at the top of the stairs and you forgot about that step, or it was dark, a person could trip. We left the bathroom light on as reminder about that step and left the French bedroom doors slightly open just to allow a little light as a reminder about that step. A suggestion would be to install a nightlight on the vertical wall of that step to alert people if they needed to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Wouldn't have to be that bright light and maybe even colored...blue..red etc. Overall, a nice little cozy cottage with spectacular views of the beach. At one time on our first morning we saw 16 surfers hitting the waves. Probably will come back although I wish 2 day stays were year-round. Wayne H.

Perfect Dillon beach getaway!

This house was absolutely perfect! My wife and I booked it for our honeymoon and brought our golden retriever Juniper. The place was immaculate and so spacious. The photos truly do not do the view justice. The view from the deck and living is absolutely insane, and we got to watch the sun set each night. The kitchen is perfectly stocked so we were able to making amazing meals every day, and Cherry the host was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. We will absolutely be staying again soon!

I’ll typically take my small Weber q grill with me to grill dinner oysters, etc.This property had a nice grill so I didn’t bring mineIt had two propane tanks, both empty. That was a bummer.

Fab beach trip

The beach cottage is perfect for a long weekend or short beach getaway. The beach is super dog friendly with both rocky and sandy beach area. And the house is more than cozy with all the amenities. Only downside is that there is only one shop/restaurant to walk to. Loved it!

Another wonderful getaway

Our host, Cherry is very thoughtful and ensures that guest needs are provided for. We didn't have a single issue and lucked out again with the weather. We bought crabs at Spud Point in Bodega Bay- they were large and very fresh. We have stayed here before and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the ocean and walks on the beach!

A delightful stay in Dillon Beach!

Cherry's house is so comfy and welcoming, and has such a great view of the ocean. We didn't even mind that the weather wasn't so great, we were more than happy to spend lots of time in the house. Lovely artwork everywhere you look, comfy beds, lots of kitchen equipment, the best location. PLUS handmade chocolates to welcome you! We had a lovely time and really look forward to staying here again.

Cherry has set the new bar for staying at Dillon. From the homemade chocolates , a personal phone call welcoming us on arrival…the weekend was set! Amazing view combined with the coziness of the fireplace, comfy couch with family/friends made this one that will not be forgotten!!

Beautiful Home and Beautiful View

Our family had the most relaxing stay at Cherry's home. We spent our days walking down to the beach, playing games at the dining table with a gorgeous view of the ocean, and had the best sleep in the comfy beds. Cherry was easy to communicate with and answered questions and made sure we were well prepared for our stay. We would LOVE to stay here again!

Love this House!

We have stayed at Cherry’s house multiple times and love to return to her cozy home whenever possible. Her kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Super comfortable beds and beautiful bedding. Wonderful views of the ocean from inside and back patio.
