Staff were very friendly and helpful, even helped us book our excursion. Also, the bartenders were very friendly. One area for improvement, our room smelled of mildew/mold. However, it was kept clean by the housekeeper each day. The hotel is in a great location.

First off - the staff at this property were wonderful. Helped with complex logistical questions, made great referrals to Rx and other important resources we needed to find, made sure the rooms were clean and everyone was friendly and attentive. (Gave me a nice umbrella to use in a pinch! What could be more Dublin than that?) Second - despite its location in Temple Bar, our room was in the back wing- and it was amazingly quiet. We were worried about that (for good reason) but the party noise outside never came in. Pricing was fair. That is all you can ask for. Sure, I have a few minor complaints (lighting in the room was not really sufficient, there were not a lot of cabinets or furniture - so expect a rather minimal vibe) but this was a 5* stay all the way.

Everything was great except the room was sooo dark! I get that the window didn't bring much light because of where it was located, however they should over compensate with lighting in the room. There were only a couple lights which must have had super low-wattage bulbs. It just felt dark and grungy even though the room was clean!

Shambolic Experience” After traveling from the Scotland and looking forward to checking in for a 2 night stay, which had been booked nine months earlier, what a disappointment awaited. Upon arrival we were advised the booking had been cancelled by their Reservations team that morning due to an “issue” with my card (note that this was a pay on arrival reservation). No waiting for me to actually arrive to sort things out. Straight out cancelled. Apparently I would have received a cancellation email and a phone call. However, I had no missed calls & no emails. I doubt they even tried. They also informed me they were fully booked and no rooms were available. Front of House staff showed no empathy and did nothing to help in finding alternative accommodation. We were left waiting in the reception area for almost two hours with not as much as a glass of water offered. The manager was apparently not onsite and we were left to arrange another hotel ourselves. This was far from easy as Dublin was full! We eventually had to pay extra for an alternative hotel which was not in the area we wanted, resulting in extra costs not just for the room but for travel, with the Morgan washing their hands of us. Utterly abysmal service and a complete lack of communication. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. Avoid.
