This secluded getaway is in a stunning seafront location, with views from every room, over the islands of Loch Bracadale to the Cuillin Hills, Talisker cliffs and Rhum. The two kingsize bedrooms allow you lie back in luxury and comfort while watching the sunrise. The kitchen/ living room is double aspect with a floor to ceiling arch window and dining table situated so you can watch the abundance of wildlife, including dolphins, sea eagles, hare, deer and if you are lucky an otter or two. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all you need to cook up some scrumptious meals, the fridge is stocked with milk, butter, eggs and fruit and one of the cupboards has a range of herbs, spices, oil, pasta, sauce and cereal so that when you arrive you can just sit back, relax and take it all in. Upstairs there is a games room with a pool/snooker table and a range of board games. Although it is not overlooked, it is close enough to the main roads to allow easy access to the rest of the island.

The comfort and cleanliness of the home cannot be overstated. It was perfect. However, the highlight here is the location and view. It is breathtaking. I became emotional when first seeing it..... And it's a private view, no other houses in sight. I'm disappointed we only had a couple days to stay. It is a bit remote, but worth the drive in. Also Rosie, the host, was friendly and helpful.

We had a magical stay at Rosie’s stunning property. We were greeted by Rosie and her adorable pups Tessa and Marley upon arrival. Rosie was an extremely hospitable host! The kitchen was stocked with fruit and eggs and pasta and butter and milk, the works! We loved knowing that before or after long days out exploring Isle of Skye, we had food there for us. The house is beautiful and clean and decorated with Rosie’s gorgeous artwork. We walked down to the beach first thing and experienced the most beautiful sunset. We wanted to stay forever, and although Rosie offered for us to stay another night if we wanted, we had to depart. Such a daydream of a stay- we’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Rosie’s place. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures. We loved how easy commutation was, the little extras (local baked bread, chocolates) and of course getting to meet the pups Suzie and Tessa. We drove all over Skye but the front yard here might just have the best view.

The host is on site and helped us figure a few things out. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked. The views were breathtaking and the road coming in was so quaint. The host, Rose is an artist and her beautiful paintings can be seen throughout the cottage. Wish I could have stayed forever.

Rosie was such an amazing host! Beautiful house with stunning views. She had snacks and some basic food items and snacks stocked in the kitchen such as fruits, milk, cereal, pasta, butter, bread, and more. This was prefect as we checked in late and were able to whip up a quick meal as most places close by were already closed. Beds were very comfortable and everything was pristine. Would definitely love to come back and stay for longer!

We would consider this the best place we stayed during our entire Scotland trip. The view of the bay from the dining table is stunning. Rosie is a wonderful host who ensures her guests have everything they need to feel right at home. Her communication was excellent as she was ready to answer any questions we had. We especially appreciated the freshly baked bread, eggs, and snacks. Having access to a guest Netflix account and a pool table kept us entertained at night. The friendly dogs were the cherry on top. Overall we wished we stayed longer and hope to come again.

Breathtaking

The cottage is just beautiful, very well appointed with kitchen and laundry appliances, very comfortable rooms and beds, excellent instructions on how to get there. We loved our time there and were sad to leave. It is off-the-beaten track but well worth. The host was very kind to stock up the kitchen with basic food stuffs so that upon our arrival we could make dinner and breakfast before embarking on our adventures. She was just great. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beacacarrie house! The property looks remote on the map but is quite convenient and we actually saw some of the most stunning and quintessential Scottish highland sceneries to and from the property (like the highland cows). The house is nice, spacious but cozy, and very clean, and has great view of the ocean. The host is very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. Overall 12 out 10 experience, highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Isle of Skye. We wish we were here for longer, and if we come back we’ll definitely look up this property’s availability again.

Slice of heaven at the edge of Skye

This lovely cottage was just what we wanted for our 5 days on the Isle of Skye! Remote and private, but we drove all over Skye to see the sights. We were so happy to have this cozy cottage to return to each evening. The view is fantastic, and the small town of Dunvegan is charming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for relaxation and immersion in Skye!
