Stayed for one night with a booking for the Congress theatre. Sea view room was clean and spacious as were all public areas of the hotel. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Had a fantastic stay at The Landsdowne. Its a old hotel with lots of history. The staff, reception, breakfast and dinner, absolutely brilliant. Tomas, Hannah, Rosa, Dora, to name a few. Our room was spacious. We'll definitely be back.

The seaview is pretty good, The toilet has bad drainage smell on the first night and the hotel team quickly helped us change to another room. Pets stayed here is quite expensive, the food in the restaurant is all right. Parking is a bit tricky on the main road.

The hotel is an older building but very clean and well maintained. The staff at the Lansdowne were superb, all of them. The receptionist was welcoming, the bar staff were friendly and chatty. The restaurant crew were accommodating and professional. On arrival the room was not setup for four, an immediate apology and within 10 minutes the additional bed arrived and made up with care. The hotel has a free pool table that our boys loved.
