I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.

Our Stay on the Brae was fine, but I think it is advertised as more than it is. It is a bedroom and bath attached to someone's house. You enter the room by walking around back of the house and entering the room from an exterior door. The bedroom was just big enough for the kingsize bed. The owner was very nice and provided for our needs and gave us useful information.

What a lovely place to stay for a short break. On the direct bus route into Edinburgh. Lovely comfortable big bed. Friendly host and very informative about the area and recommendations.

Great little find

This was a great little find! Lovely, clean accommodation, just outside of Edinburgh with free parking and easy transport links into the city centre. Graeme was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we visit Edinburgh again in the future.

Great weekend stay

Graeme and Alex are two amazing hosts, very kind and extremely helpful. The accommodation is as described in the website, big bedroom and private bathroom, all very clean and tidy. The place is easy to get from/to the city center, with the bus stop only a few meters away.

Excellent; very helpful communications; perfect location - free parking, bus stop at the front door, main bus route; Absolutely clean and comfortable. Would come back if in Edinburgh again.
